US Shipping is Back - What you need to know (March 2026)
Dear Valued Customers,
We have great news: as of March 2026, we are officially resuming shipments to the United States!
When we suspended US shipping last August, it was not a decision we made lightly. The rollout of new tariff regulations brought significant uncertainty, unclear fee structures, shifting documentation requirements, and unpredictable costs that we were not comfortable passing on to you without a clear, reliable system in place. We took the time to get it right, and we’re confident we have.
Here is what you need to know before placing your order:
New Shipping Carrier — USPS
We are moving from UPS to USPS for all US-bound orders. The biggest advantage of this change: all applicable duties, taxes, and tariff-related fees will be fully paid at checkout. That means no surprise charges, no fees due at the door, nothing owed upon delivery.
Delivery Timeline
Orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days. Please note that all US-bound orders are subject to customs processing at the border, which can take 2 weeks or more. This is outside of our control and we appreciate your patience. Our Rum Cakes have a minimum shelf life of three months, ensuring your order arrives well within its freshness window.
Shipping Costs
We want to be upfront: shipping rates for US orders are higher than before. This reflects the additional tariff-related fees that are now being absorbed into the shipping cost upfront so that you have full price transparency at checkout with no surprises after the fact.
A Heads-Up for Early Orders
As we transition into this new system, there may be occasional glitches or minor delays during the first few weeks. We appreciate your patience as we work out the kinks, and we will communicate proactively if any issue affects your order.
Thank you for your patience, your loyalty, and the many messages asking when we’d be back. We heard you, and we’re glad to finally have an answer.
Order yours today.
Warm regards,
